275 / 315
  1. 95

This was my first time entering a fitness facility. I took turns attempting to benchpress with a few friends and this is my first record.

  2. 115

After a few more weeks of training bench, I took my luck to the 35 pound plates.

  3. 135

On this day someone asked me why I do so many reps instead of attempting higher weight. I told him the amount I was repping (115) was the most I could do and he made a bet I could do 135. He won that bet.

  4. 165

Right before I went on vacation I decided to genuinely reach my limits for bench press and I surprised myself by getting to 165.

  5. 175

I was developing muscles at a rate that facilitated a habit of getting a weekly record.

  6. 185

    Consequence of weekly pr.

  7. 195

    Final consequence of weekly pr.

  8. 200

During the school year another friend bet me I could do 200 and I didn't believe him because my 175 warm up felt weak. He won that bet.

  9. 205

I was tired of plateauing so I rushed a pr. My life flashed before my eyes when I did this weight.

  10. 225

'Two Plates'. Every weight lifter wants to bench this weight. I was on top of the moon when I finally hit this.

  11. 245

Around Thanksgiving I felt a little strong on my warm up sets so I decided to level up with 245. I benched this weight twice so I treated it as a two-rep pr. Hence, the number '245x2' stuck with me and anyone who asked me for my record.

  12. 255

I was benching in a college apartment and they had a strange variety of plates. It was really annoying to load 245 with the plates the gym had so I went for a convenient pr.

  13. 275

When I got back from college I felt strong and went for the midway milestone to 315. I love this number for so many reasons and I felt like a million bucks when I got it.
